Where is the scene set?
The scene is set somewhere deep in a forest at a camp. Camp was not introduced thoroughly. Some scenes are written in a house on the other side of the forest.

What do you like about the book?

I like how it has a child who made a wish upon an amulet , an ancient gift given to him by his Uncle, for something that involved animals. Anyway after he made his wish things started to change. Even his destiny was chosen for him. His fate seemed to unravel for him as he found out the he was the protector of the undead pets who want go to rest peacefully until their loved ones heart ache is fixed or they want  their pet sister to be safe. It is a really responsible acting book

What did you not like about the book?

Well it was nothing big but there was something minor. I did wish that in this book of the series Joe would tell Matt his best friend but I believe that the author did it for a purpose so it is okay with me.

What is you overall student judgement?

The book was very active and very thrilling. Everything was positive and the fact that pets care dearly enough for their owners to stay alive long enough to make them happy makes me smile. O.S.J (Overall Student Judgement ) An awesome book. Reccomended for any age from 9 - 11.

The Tiger - Homework Task

For the writing part of our homework we were given a photo of a tiger in a bathroom. We used as much imagination as possible to turn this photo into a Narrative. I hope you enjoy reading my story below

Water trickled down Josh’s back as he hopped out of the shower. The white bathtub groaned as it gulped down the water. Moaning in the effort. His blue eyes fell on the new mirror which had just been installed. A crack echoed through the bathroom as he lifted his leg out, his eyes still enchanted by the mirror failed to assist the rest of his body. His toe jabbed. He fell head over heels.

His face suddenly buried into fur. He opened his eyes and got a handful of Jaffa orange and licorice black fur. He jolted into a kick stance. He looked closer it was a tiger.  The tigers green eyes flicked open. It re winded onto it hind paws then literally walked past Josh’s pale face.

It situated itself onto the glistening toilet bowl. After a few minutes it finished, suddenly... it lunged at Josh scanning it’s blue eyes. A voice crawled out the jagged teeth. “ Josh? What are you doing here?” The voice ran into Josh’s ear triggering this one thought “Jordan?”

The tiger nodded. Josh yelped “ My twin is a tiger!” Jordan nodded “ Josh help me only of you say the poem backwards I’ll be human.” “How’d you get here?” Josh asked “ Jordan roared “ I was left here last night when you said the poem you...you...you bonecracker!” “ Me what?” Josh raised his eyebrow. “A tiger saying now do it “

“Tiger gone before tonight

Green eyes bright

Tigers right

Tails long

Humans wrong”

Josh opened his eye. His frown dove into a smile as their stood in bone and flesh, in jeans and a singlet topped with a hat, was his blue-eyed, blonde haired brother. They hugged each other for a long moment Jordan sighed now time for payback “ Chicken cluck showing bad lu-”

Josh tackled  Jordan before he could finish. “Boys!!The Chicken Taco is ready!” Their mothers voice rang out from the kitchen. Jordan and Josh looked at each other... “BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!”

Three States Of Matter

Science is important right?So in science today we went further in our studies

about Solid,Liquid,Gas. As a result of making it to the end of the power point and learning new things

we came up with Lock,Slide,Spread

Jaffa Experiment - Topic.

For topic our subject was Matter Of Fact. We did experiments in which we had to use the scientific process. We recorded our hypothesis and then observed our jaffas. If you want even you could do this experiment your self at home with and adult supervising you and the time.

Old Writing Revisited.

She saw as note on her bed...

Half in and out of the the attractive crimson red envelope.She cast a nervous glance over the shivering piece of paper.Monroe ran and plopped herself lazily onto the bed.She looked out of the window out onto the farm. Slowly her fingers trembled as she cradled the anonymous note.It

painfully stated

Dear Finder of this note,

Run away from this note I warn you!If you read on you will be lost!I read another note familiar to this one.DO NOT CARRY ON!I FORBID YOU!-

Monroe being a stubborn child she was ignored the warning.She chuckled. “Is this some kind of a joke?Haha Jason!” She carried on reading the note.Her eyes darting on every word carelessly.

Curses! I sense you have carried on.Why don’t you listen? You  stubborn child! Say bye bye to your loved ones say hello to your fate, your fate that your heart asked for.

Yours deathly,The little lost girl.

Jason came sprinting into the room rolling over the floor.His face was a playground of emotions.He huffed “Did you get a creepy note from the little lost-” His voice was snapped off like paper with scissors.The room went a murderous pitch black shade.

Crack!Tssss!Crack! Jason and Monroe were startled when a hand swiped at their faces.Jason looked around.”What!Where the blazing monkeys-” He shut his mouth when an arrow sprinted in front of his face.Narrowly missing his nose. Monroe jumped up and screamed furiously. “A forest!What the earth are we blimmun doing in a flippen forest?” A scratched up boy holding a little girls hand snapped at them. “If I were you I’d bite my tongue”

Monroe hissed “Why?Huh?”  she felt something metal touch her neck.Click.Click.Click.Monroe turned around.A girl in a pitch black cloak advised. “Is it really that bad here girly?” Monroe gulped “No.” The mysterious girl threw her hood back over her shoulders.Revealing her long fiery red  hair.Light blue eyes and a two longswords.One on each side. “Hello cuz”

Jason was puzzled “Blaze!What are you doing here?Did you get a note too?” Blaze rolled her eyes then lied  “Ohh naahh.Close your eyes now it’s past midnight” All the other children obeyed silently. Monroe lay uncomfortably on the itchy grass.This routine went on for 9 days and 9 nights.

As the moon winked down onto Monroe and the others she lost her patience. “Righto guys....We’ve got to get out of here” the boy,Keith frowned “There is no way outta  here!We don’t even know this place...But that girl the one who  brought us here...Knows this place as well as she knows the back of her hand.”

A pencil rolled passed innocently.No one noticed their way out had stopped at right at the front of each pair of feet.Monroe protested “Jason remember that episode of the lost children?They were this same situation happened, except they were left with pencils at the feet

Monroe gestured at her feet.She suddenly noticed the pencil “no one told me about bringing pencils” Keith tucked his glasses back into his dirty patched pocket and picked it up.He rubbed out one sentence then his hair disappeared.Trailing slowly  behind was  his whole body.

The little girl wailed. “Big brothers gone!He left me!” Monroe squinted at the place where Keith disappeared.She tried to calm the wailing girl “grab the pencil and rub out all the words”

The girl obeyed.Jason nodded “If they can do it so can we.”

Monroe and Jason rubbed out their words so hard smoke tumbled out into the open air.They vanished.Watching from the shadows of the forest.With her red hair cascading down onto her shoulders laughed Blaze “This ain’t over children.Black magic will play of their cards soon...And I mean all cards”

Melodie tate screamed “What the heck!?”

Kevin looked at his sister “We’re adopted!?”

Their step-parents nodded “I’m sorry”

“Ya better be”

Their step-mother muttered “You guys have powers”

Kevin looked at his mother “Listen up Mandarin..”

Manda interrupted her step-son “ Manda!”

Kevin rolled his eyes. “Whatever.. you can’t lie to us about powers Its ridiculous”

Melodie screeched “Hey!! Hellooo! whos our real parents?”

Manda asked“Have your heard of Violet sigh and Red sang?”

They all nodded even their step-dad

“Well legend has it that they had children named Iron Song and Titanium Note.”

Manda continued “After  Violet sigh had her children she gave them up so that they wouldn’t be killed by villains”

Melodie whispered “We’re heroes?”

Knock,knock

Devin let himself in.He was wearing shouting. “Miss Imma need Iron and Titanium”

Kevin glared with disbelief at his best friend “You knew?”

Devin nodded “Um duh and as your cousin I’m always updated”

Melodie sighed “Oh come on!Any more family secrets we to know?”

A portal opened up  black mist blocked their careless sight.

Boom They Were gone...Just like that

Their heads bumped really hard as the ground rushed up to greet them.

They glanced at each other cursing themselves

Melodie muttered “Where are we?”

Kevin uttered “Ummm I just got here so I dunno”

Devin answered their questions “Uh were in faire...”

Melodies face drizzled with confusion “Um faaaa... what?”

Devin repeated.“Faire, one of the lost lands”

Kevin was mumbling to himself “We better get outta here I wants some tacos if I don’t get one oooooo theres some trouble”

This all came out like an out of tune guitar.

 “So what are the others?” Kevin finally asked?”

Devin recited them “Kahriah,Luvon,Kenrez and us”

“Why us.”

“On this very date nothing was chosen but your fate

Thursday 6 May 2013, was well... the best day of our life!!! I’m not being dramatic or anything but a group of students got the chance to see that Mr.William James Adams,otherwise known as Will.I.Am . He has donated $100,000 to the Manaiakalani Education Trust. We were told at first that it was an anonymous donater but when we arrived we got the news that it was Will.I.Am himself who had donated the money.It was something worth experiencing.

When the cheque was presented we were thankful and honored for his helpful donation towards the Manaiakalani Education Trust. His inspirational words motivated us all as students to keep moving forward in life.

The words that he preached today was "My mission is to help transform disadvantaged youths, and I hope my donation to the Manaiakalani Trust will help these young people gain the skills they need for tomorrow's job market."

We acknowledged that fact the he shared a small portion of his life with us about growing up with  only his mum to raise him and about the fact that music and arts literally saved his life. He told us that his dream was to look after his mother and siblings.

When he told us what his dream was we felt like we could do something with our life. Meeting or hearing him wasn’t just hearing or seeing him as a celebrity but we got to hear and see him as a person who motivated himself to succeed in life.

We came back to school feeling glad we got to be part of something worth remembering, we got to be part of something we could tell our friends with pride and experience.
